Tractor and Container Trailer Chassis

MAFI offers container chassis for transporting ISO standard containers in ports. These container chassis are used to transport ISO standard containers within seaports. The containers are lowered from the ship onto the chassis by crane, and the chassis is coupled to a terminal tractor. The containers are then distributed or reloaded within the port terminal. Container chassis are available in sizes from 20' to 45'. The payload capacity can reach 70 tons. Container chassis are available in various configurations. Depending on customer requirements, they can be delivered as humpback trolleys, with swivel locks, or with positioning pins. In addition, various options such as air brakes, taillights, steps, etc., are also available.
